The secretaries singles was played between Steven Young of Woodlands and Joseph Stevenson from Spateston. Steven had a very good lead until the rain came on and changed the game completely allowing Joe to come back into the game getting back to 18-18 only to lose a 2 to go 20-18 down, but then taking a four at the next end to clinch the title for a second time by 21 shots to 20..
In the senior triples the team from Lilybank of Tam Ovens, Scott Kerr and Alistair Danks beat the team from Blacklandmill of Robert Pollack, Andrew Kelly, and Robert Mack by a score of 13-6..
The rinks competition with the team of Peter Watson, Mark McConville, Graham Chambers and Gary Reid from Woodlands defeating the team of Robert Clark, Chris Beg, Donald May, and Gary Watret from Crookston by a score of 23-3 which did not reflect the quality of bowling from both sides..
The Junior Singles was held as a one day competition due to the lack of numbers entered. This was played in 2 sections of 4 playing 6 ends each game with the winners of the 2 sections playing in the final. This was contested by Paul Danks of Lilybank and Ryan Kerr from Ralston, the latter winning by a score of 5-2 over the 6 ends.
The pair from Woodlands of Alec Martin and Peter Laird won after a closely fought contest eventually winning by a score of 18-7 over the pair from Brookfield of John Campbell and Colin Greig.
Bernie Cooper, Scott Raynal and Neil Harris from Crookston defeated Vinny Spalding, Craig Davis and Scott Wilson from Lochwinnoch in the triples championship by a score of 15-9.
And finally the singles championship was won by Willie McDermid from Bishopton, defeating Andy Howat from Ralston by a score 21-19..
Once again the Renshaw would like to thank Roger Black, Steven Kerr, Harry Queen and Paul Morrison for marking and umpiring, along with members of J G Fleming who looked after the scoreboards during the pouring rain.
